Internet Connections

Q- Can I use a dial-up connection?

A- A broadband connection is strongly recommended.  Past experience with dial-up has proven itself to be un-reliable. 

Q- Can I use a slow DSL line?

A- Because DSL is in fact a permanent connection it is acceptable.

Q- Can I use a Cable or Satellite Connection?

A- Cable is a permanent connection and is reliable.  A Satellite Connection is usually billed on connection time and may prove to be too expensive for 24x7 use.  Satellite also carries with it a given amount of latency due to the nature of satellite communications.  If DSL or Cable or Fiber is available, we would strongly recommend them.

Desktop or Laptop

Q- I have an older laptop Pentium III running Windows ME, can I use it?

A- All of our Research and Development for the FREE EXPERT ADVISOR were conducted on Windows XP machines both desktop and laptops.  If you laptop meets the minimum requirements outlined on another page on this website, then you can use it.  A plugged in laptop has a battery built in and is well suited for the job.  However, you must disable Hibernation and Standby modes to insure that the laptop or notebook does not go to sleep.

Q- I only have one machine. Can I still use it to run Metatrader?

A- One of the most critical aspects of trading the Forex is the fact that you are using your hard earned income to generate more money or income.  Why chance the possibility that your machine gets shut down with an OPEN trade waiting for a signal to CLOSE that may never come because your machine got shutdown due to a crash of any sort?  Don't take the chance.  Get yourself a machine you can dedicate to this task or shutdown all other programs in favor of running your Forex Money making machine.

Which Broker should I use

Q- Which Broker should I use when I get started in Forex?

A- There are many brokers worthy of your trust.  If manual trading is for you, then any of them may suffice.  If you are interested in automatic trading using an Expert Advisor, then you must choose a broker that offers the Metatrader Platform.  All of our testing was done on InterbankFX. 

Q- How do I get the Metatrader program?

A- You can get the Metatrader program from Metaquotes.net.  If you sign up for a demo account with a Metatrader broker, then you will get the free software when you complete the application.

Q- What is the minimum amount of money I must put on deposit to open an account?

A- A MINI account typically requires that you deposit at least $250. Check with the broker of your choice for their rules and requirements for trading the forex. We recommend a minimum of $500 when trading with a mini account and your pips are designated to be $1.00 pips.

Q- Can I use another software package other than Metatrader?

A- The FREE EXPERT ADVISOR was built specifically for the Metatrader platform running on top of Microsoft Windows XP.

Prep & Handling Fee

Q- Can I purchase the FREE EXPERT ADVISOR? 

A- The FREE EXPERT ADVISOR is not for sale.  We give it away for free.  However, we charge $10 prep & handling fee to prepare the EA specifically for your account and then we encrypt it and send it to you in Email.  This process is the effort put forth for the prep & handling fee.

Q- How long is the FREE EXPERT ADVISOR (FEA) good for?

A- The FEA is designed to run beginning on a Saturday and end on a Saturday 28 days later.  At that point a new period begins and requires the payment of $10.00 handling fee.

Q- What happens if I pay the P & H fee for a given 28 day (4 week) period and then I don't use it due to some unforeseen situation, can I get the $10.00 refunded?

A- We have absolutely no control over your life situations.  The Prep & Handling fee is NOT refundable. 

Q- If my system shuts down, can I restart it even if it is not Saturday.

A- Yes.  The system looks back into history approximately 8 bars. The program will start processing all over again to find the next open position. 

Q- How do I pay the Prep & Handling Fee?

A- The FREE EXPERT ADVISOR prep & handling fee is paid using the PayPal Website. Make your payment using the link below and be sure to include your .........

1- Name,

2- Email Address, (note that the same Email address must appear when you use Paypal to make you P&H payment)

3- Your Metatrader Account Number (either DEMO or LIVE), and

4- the currency you will be trading which currently is only GBP/USDm. 

DO NOT SEND US A PASSWORD for your Metatrader Account.

How WizE_GuyS works

Q- Can I set WizE_GuyS to auto start both in Windows and in MetaTrader?

A- Yes.  However we strongly discourage from doing this.  Why? If Windows or MetaTrader stops or freezes or whatever and then restarts and you had an OPEN trade in the system, you have a problem.  WizE_GuyS does not know if a Trade is left behind in the system at the Broker's terminal (not yours).  You must close any open trades manually if your system goes down for any reason.  If you auto start your system, your Windows XP operating system and your Metatrader program and your WG ea, you will never know that the system shut down.

Q- How do I learn how to setup my system and the Wize_GuyS EA?

A- Visit our "How to Use this EA" page and study it carefully.

Q- The Tools, Options, Trade allows you to set a default for trading. Does the WizE_GuyS EA use this pre-setable default?

A- No. The WizE_GuyS EA is set at $1.00 Pip Value. You can change it using the INPUT tab in the pre-startup dialogue box when you start the EA.  If you are a newbie using DEMO mode, there is no problem with risk when using the $1.00 Pip Value.
